5/17/25 ~1800Z Medevac AirCare-1 from area of Quantico VA requests direct to Washington Hospital Center in N. DC via Key Bridge and "split the P's" (route between P56A/B), crossing Rwy 19 arrival corridor.  No go-arounds, 4 planes on Final given delay vectors to accommodate.

Before that, RPA5801 missed 1st approach at 1753Z due to winds.  On their second approach, @1800Z DAL1622 told to LUAW with traffic (RPA5801) on 5 mile final... DAL1622 responds they "need a minute", controller advises they are blocking the intersection, DAL1622 said they need "30 seconds", controller asks if they can take it on the runway, DAL1622 agrees, instructed to LUAW with traffic 3.5 miles out.  RPA5801 requested to reduce to Final.  30s after LUAW, DAL1622 given takeoff clearance with traffic at 2.25 miles, respond ~5s later they're still "waiting on the back", instructed to expedite runway exit at Sierra; respond ~2s later to say they are now ready, given immediate takeoff clearance (!); RPA5801 given a go-around...

Potomac controller asked whether it was for wind again or something else, RPA5801 tersely responds "traffic on the runway".  RPA5801 was delayed a bit further due to the medevac but was first in the sequence back into DCA, landing 1813Z.

Combo TWR, HELI, OJAAY (Final) from 1730+1800, edited for content/time etc not realtime (section with DAL1622 is left in realtime from 2.26 - 5.11 in the clip)
