Another example of go-around for separation from approved law enforcement activity along with river; non-emergency but timings of VIP movements and related activities can be very fluid...

4/25/25 ~0155Z (4/24/25 9:55pm ET) - US Park Police c/s Eagle1, South/Eastbound on Potomac River / Route 1 from Trump National Golf Club @ Sterling VA to DC/P56-A, scouting route for Marine 1 for POTUS return to WH.  Arrvials on Rwy 19 still active at this time.  RPA4546 & Eagle1 both given traffic advisories @ 1.5/1 mile separation; RPA4546 approach clearance later canceled and instructed to go-around, subsequent arrivals continued to land prior to stop for VIP movement, with advisories for helicopter traffic off left at Monument.  RPA4546 was delayed on final for the VIP movement and landed at DCA after Marine 1 had passed, approx 15 mins after the go-around.

No track for Eagle1 is available for this particular flight on ADSB-Exchange making it harder to determine relative separation.  Based on feed/ADSB-Ex data, rough estimate they would have passed somewhere between Georgetown Reservoir and Key Bridge between 0154-0155Z with separation in range 500-800ft; cancellation of approach clearance was given at 0154.30Z.  On this part of the route, RPA4546 was at ~1200ft still descending to 775ft at Key Bridge; Eagle was previously reported at 400ft and presumably descended to 300ft Route 1 ceiling at Key Bridge.

Timeline per TWR feed (Zulu):

0153:15 RPA4546 on approach given traffic advisory for Eagle off nose southbound 1 mile ahead at 400ft (approx area Chain Bridge), acknowledged in sight ("about to be over him").  Eagle given advisory for E170 1 mile off tail at 2200ft (response not audible on this feed).
0153.52 Tower asks Eagle1 to report Key Bridge
0154.30 RPA4546 approach clearance cancelled, instructed to climb to 3000ft but remain on approach path.  This was in area of Georgetown Reservoir; track shows altitude continues to descend until Key Bridge @ 775ft.
0155.05 Transmission from Eagle1 inaudible, presume reporting at Key Bridge (approx location).
0155.25 Tower asks Eagle1 to report P56-A
0155.30 RPA4546 given 250 heading / maintain 3000, switch to dep 118.95
0158.30 Marine 1 checks in with Tower

Clip is realtime unedited from TWR feed, from 0152.45 to 0158.35.  Controller side only for helicopter calls.
