DCA Thursday 3/20/25 around 19:50Z / 17:50ET, storm rolls in causing several go-arounds for Rwy 19 before they reversed the field northbound.
JIA5247 was given departure clearance from Rwy 15 with DAL2963 2 miles out for Rwy 19, DAL2963 did a go-around over the field climbing to 3k while JIA5247 was instructed to maintain 2k on departure underneath. Based on ADSB-Exchange they would have crossed south of DCA with about 0.5mi/1150ft separation (3475ft vs. 2325ft). Comments before the switch to departure (124.2 today) - DAL2963 "negative contact"; JIA5247 "we have him on the fish finder".
DAL2963 ended up diverting to IAD, JBU1880 diverted to PHL; JIA5073/JIA5313 came back into DCA on Rwy 1.
