KBFL: Comanche makes an emergency landing in onion field

Hey everyone,  

First post here, I pieced this together the best I could but lost some of the transmissions because the feed covers multiple frequencies. The file covers about 12 minutes condensed to around 4. You can hear the pilot safely on the ground @ 2:45. There are a lot of obstructions between his location and my house so the audio is poor but I decided to include it anyway. Perhaps someone can clean it up better than I can.

A Piper Comanche (N7438P) in route from Chino, CA to Livermore, CA experienced a fuel pump failure around 19:20 UTC 06/13/2012. The pilot ended up landing safely in a field about 2 miles short of Bakersfield Municipal Airport (L45). You can find the local news report on the incident with pictures and video here:
