Emergency landing and stuck aircraft at jfk
« on: February 16, 2007, 02:02:41 PM »
Heard an Aeromexico aircraft get stuck to the ground at the ramp during the KJFK-Del-Gnd-Feb-15-2007-1930Z clip.

Also, there is an aircraft that makes an emergency landing during the clip but the Tower clip is not working.  You can hear the emergency equipment get dispatched.  Anyobdy know what happened?

Finally, I wasn't listening during the "chaos" at JFK a couple of days ago but is anybody heard anything interesting, be sure to let us know.

the emergency vehicles are always running at JFK ^_^
it seems every night when i'm listening on clearnace/ground, the emergency vehicles are always called out but quite usually no further assistance is required by the aircraft.
it was funny listening whilst they had the snow. aircraft had to wait around 60mins before they could taxi to the ramp and quite a few were getting stuck and sliding around on the taxi ways. they were calling out tugs but they were having trouble getting traction on to their tires.
it was a great night.
