Yesterday's IFR flight KEKY Bessemer AL w/ ATC COMS - Video

In-flight video of my trip to KEKY to help reduce the turkey population by one.  Very pretty ride above the undercast.  Something always magical to watching the sun rise.

Return trip from KEKY with ATC COMS - Video

After eating my share of turkey, took to flight.  It wasn't the best of weather for passengers, but like driving a car, she dealt with it.  Hardest part for her UNDERSTANDABLY was IMC and nightfall.

Video includes me picking up my IFR in the air, requests for altitude change for weather, me being moved for priority traffic and cancellation of my IFR in the air.

Truly fascinating to be part of the ATC system and how things "just work".

Passenger made the cleared the active call.  I believe in CRM as she handled tuning the radio for all frequency changes:-))

Very pretty, indeed.  I never tire of the view upon breaking out into CAVU above a solid layer, especially after being below that dark and dreary layer for days.

Excellent video - got a kick out of the t-day banter on some of the freqs.

Thanks Peter for the compliments.

One last video for this flight.  No ATC coms as the video is to music.  I hope others will enjoy it for the scenery that aviation gives us the privilege to see.

to the song I Wanna Fly Away.

Note the Cessna tire in the video was inserted to "fit the words" of the song  :-D
