Title: JFK - Delta 2046 Emergency Landing
Post by: nitroboie on February 09, 2006, 08:21:35 PM
Apparently the plane hit a bird and the number 1 engine flamed out. This happened around 4:45PM EST. I grabbed audio from the tower and ground feeds and combined them into one clip. The action follows from the initial ground call to rescue vehicles, to the tower clearance, taxi and hold, inspection of the engine, and the final taxi of the plane to the gate. I made the bitrate pretty low since it's a long audio clip, I have a high bitrate version availble too, but I doubt it'd make that much of a difference. Enjoy
