Keep in mind that Clearance and Flight data are the first positions new controllers train on in the tower.  I'm sure he had a long day, but not as long as his trainer.

Wow... Ive heard better clearances read in my intro to air traffic control class than this guy.  One thing I have noticed is that alot of the new controllers are not familiar with making the information understandable to the pilots.  After listening to those fumbled clearances I honestly would have him read them again instead of trying ot read back the information that jumbled.

i don't think he was a trainee. i've heard this guy many of a time in the tower for as long as i can remember, though he usually sounds a little more upbeat than this.

i guess something was preventing him from reading the clearance effectively, or as said before... maybe he was just having a real bad day  :-)
