JFK Area emergency aircraft on final feed
« on: June 19, 2006, 03:46:32 PM »
DAL806 departed LGA with 177 souls on board and is now inbound to JFK with a left engine problem and might have to shut-down the engine.  Currently being vectored for 22R at JFK on the JFK final feed at 19:45 zulu.  A few aircraft were pulled off the VOR/DME 22L approach to accomidate the emergency aircraft.

I'll update once I have more info off the feed.

Landed successfully on 22R after a re-sequence at the request of DAL806.  JFK Tower, Ground, and Delivery are all *extremely* busy and it makes for some very enjoyable home listening.  :-D

Busy day for JFK, I was listening to the ground feed while playing BF2 so I only caught glimpses of all the action. Sounds like the aircraft is on its way to the gate now, can't wait to hear the clips.

And this feed should really light up when those t-storms approach sometime later today.
