An airline spokesperson says flight 1126 took off from Fort Lauderdale en-route to Raleigh-Durham when they were diverted to West Palm Beach after a mechanical issue.
The flight landed safely and without further incident, a spokesman said.
Details of the mechanical issue were not released.
Concerned passengers called CBS12 and said JetBlue staff told them an engine may have gone out in-flight, prompting the emergency landing.
