The Fly Out Group (FOG) at San Carlos Flight Center in Bay Area, California had a fly out at SFO. http://www.sancarlosflightcenter.com/fog-events/january-3-sat-1000pm-full-moon-flyers-party-sfo A number of Cessna and other small aircraft were given permission to land at SFO. Attached is a clip where a confused Cessna pilot misses a taxiway and tries to turn around on the runway in order to get on the right taxiway. A Frontier flight behind him had to abort the landing and go around. The controller asked the pilot: "what are you doing man?"

Dorothy, we're not at San Carlos anymore.  :-)

Let's hope he learned a little situational awareness and ability to read taxi signs and diagrams from this little trip.  The reality is that many private pilots don't get a chance to go into larger airport environments often, or ever.

Frontier should bill for the extra has wasted in the go around. Stuff like this gives GA a really bad name. Who wants to bet that SFO will be less willing to accommodate small GA aircraft the next time around?
