Coming in from Moncton, Jazz 8911, a CRJ landing on 6R at Pearson landed, then the gear collapsed while taxiing off the runway, no injuries to pax/crew. The plane remains on the taxiiway as the investigaton continues, 6R/24L is closed, as is 6L/24R for construction I believe. The airport is using 33L/33R currently.
Clip is attached below, starts at about 12:37 EDT. You can hear the controller telling 8911 to exit into D3, then hesitate while giving Jazz 8955 landing clearance because he's watching the gear collapse on the exiting RJ. Jazz 8037, a Dash-8 on the rollout, calls in affirmation of the FOD on the runway, blocking 8911's request for assistance; the emergency vehicles were enroute anyway. Approach then swung everyone off the 6R approach and over to 05.
