KLAX Departure Emergency - DAL2116 Yaw Problems (1/13/2015)

Climbing out of KLAX, DAL2116 declared an emergency (due to a yaw problem, mentioned later in the clip) and requested to immediately return to KLAX. Departure instead vectored the aircraft over the ocean while they talked to company and prepared the aircraft.

I hope we get more details on what happened here. The AV Herald article doesn't shed much light (http://avherald.com/h?article=480390b3&opt=0) but yaw and control problems and the tone in the pilots' voices seemed pretty urgent.
