Love the way the controller says left "laaft"  :-D

Im guessing to be a female pilot you gotta be ready to make a quick comeback for any jokes male pilots/atc have!

Heard one day some 5 years ago during a shift change at KLAS tower, during my planespotting/scanning sessions at the 25s:

Quote
Male Voice: Southwest 243, winds 250 at 6, runway 25R, cleared for takeoff.
SWA243: cleared for takeoff 25R, Southwest 243.

UAL1256: Sir, United 1256 is going to need A2 today.
Female Voice: United 1256, Las Vegas Tower, runway 25R at A2, position and hold.
UAL1256: position and hold 25R at A2 United 1256, sorry about that, ma'am.
Tower: I get called that here all the time.
UAL1256: Other pilots don't know you?
Tower: Nah, the other controllers here don't know a woman when they see one.
UAL1256: OUCH.

'nuff said. ;)

WARNING: SLIGHTLY DIRTY JOKE AHEAD

Alright so an aircraft is on approach, he calls up the tower

A/C:Tower N435XK on final for 34

Tower turns out to be a woman, with perfect little innocent voice over freq

Tower:N435XK, roger tower, winds 320 at 5, runway 34 cleared to land

Thinking he will be clever the aircraft says

A/C:Roger cleared to land, 435XK, and ma'am we need full length today
Tower: You need full length 5XK?
A/C:Affirmative, we are coming in a bit hot today
Tower (With that tone that implies a raised eyebrow):Alright 5XK I'll be expecting full length

The airplane continues his approach, touches down on the numbers, and rolls out, only to turn off the runway halfway down.

Tower:What happened to the full length 5XK?
A/C:Eh turns out we weren't so hot
Tower:Not the first pilot I saw with premature intersection, ground point eight for parking, g'day

 :-D
