Irish Coast Guard helicopter Rescue 116 crashed on 14 March with the loss of 4  crew while supporting a medical evacuation from a British fishing vessel off the Mayo coast.

A tragic loss of brave lives made even more poignant by reports that the fisherman's injury was of a relatively minor nature.
Apart from a short interval after departure from it's Dublin base this audio clip includes all communications with the aircraft and the loss of communications. It also includes comms with the other Irish Coast Guard helicopters deployed that night.
