A rare in-flight emergency
« on: October 17, 2007, 05:37:45 PM »
Caught this yesterday, 10/16/07.
DAL669 had an on-board incident enroute out of BOS. Self-explanatory.

Awesome job putting it together. Sounds like a killer door if she nearly severed her finger. Was pretty neat to hear how fast OPS had a gate, a spare F/A, and fuel ready when they got back. Hope everything turned out ok for the F/A involved.

i love examples like this of just awesome coordination between so many different people in different places: flight attendant to pilots to departure to center to approach, tower, ground, the delta ramp and the EMT's...just a superb show of communication and fast response

despite all the criticism bestowed upon it, we certainly have a great system set up here.  nice job on the clip and to everyone involved.

Listened to this one again today since it got bumped up in forums. Probably one of the most complete clips on here where you can catch every part of the flight and the emergency. Hollis you are the man.
