LOL I can't make out what the controller is actually saying. If I was that pilot I'd be confused/upset as well! Does anyone know what he was actually trying to say?

He was asking the pilot if he was "an immediate," apparently to see if he could go out right away...but it sounds like in the confusion he missed his gap.

I hope the pilot wasn't an idiot!  That clip was a little hard to hear... don't know if it's how it was heard over the air as well, but if so I can't blame the pilot!  :)

LOL ! Sounds like Moncton Tower (CYQM). C-GMFI is a Katana registered to the Moncton Flying Club. The pilot sounds French, maybe the language thing didn't help ? Good reception, a live feed from this location would be good (hint). DJ

Yes that certainly sounds like one of the Moncton tower controllers. Nice clip by the way.
