Title: Iberia 6124 MIA-MAD Nose gear smoke at take off.
Post by: tinmad on September 30, 2013, 04:19:58 PM
EC-LUB (A333) began rolling and it veered to the right, smoke came out from the nose gear area. Gear left extended at take off longer than usual.

This clip can also be added to the "poor spoken English" topic, I really can't figure out what she's saying after we are going...... takeoff......  unintelligible...

Can someone translate?

Also how can she see the nosegear to determine the smoke? She can never see it, only break temp on the EICAS, but nose gears don't have breaks....

I believe she said "we're gonna leave the runway on the right". Not sure. Indeed this part is hard to understand. The rest wasn't that bad though.

Sometimes brakes break, and that is the breaking news today about airplane brakes!
