I was on AA652 SLC-PHX during that time, just before the wifi shut off I heard the first call about them from a plane ahead of us.  They didn't seem too happy with how high they were.  Our pilot was advised of them and reported them in sight just before I lost the feed.

I'll see if I can find the initial call.
