Title: HF Airband SSB help needed please
Post by: steve wilson on February 19, 2008, 04:54:06 PM
Hi

I have ordered myself a Degen De1103 and active antenna and hope to do a bit of HF listening.  Can anyone direct me to a forum or website that has some help for a newbie, thanks.

Steve

Hi Steve,

Are you on the West Coast? Tune to Oakland Center on HF frequuency 5574 MHz and 11282 upper side band. Interesting monitoring the planes enroute to Hawaii. Let me know how that active antenna works out. I had to abandon shortwave listening when I moved to a smaller place, but hope to get back into monitoring HF enroute frequencies again.

Regards,

Ken
