I was listening to real world Seattle this morning 11/26 12:20 PM or so -- lots of icing concerns this morning -- Heard them say final was running up near Paine (PAE) (I had to laugh -- I'm a controller on VATSIM and my training mentors are always getting after me for doing this with lots of traffic -- so Ha!)
Anyways everyone is in a fairly punchy mood dealing with it -- excellent controllers today -- just heard this exchange:
APP: United 322 reduce speed 180 you're number 8 or 9
UAL: OK, fine, be that way, we'll do it
APP: We can send you to Canada
UAL: If I punch my first officer in the nose do we qualify as a lifeguard flight?
APP: Sure, if you don't mind being 1 mile behind a heavy 757 on final...

I found the clip and trimmed it down a little... your transcript is a little off, but funny just the same! :)
I wonder what the passengers would have thought... :-D

Haha if I were on that flight I would have been listening too, gotta love ATC in the air on United!

Great! Nice catch. That pilot's got a sense of humour.
