Attached audio clip was my Friday flight to KMBO NE practice area.
Thought some may find it interesting to hear what happens from a "pilots' point of view by me vocalizing checklists and what I am thinking or reading including how I prompt myself when the camera on for syncing up with the video..
The flight was 1 hour but I compressed the audio clip down down to 17 minute clip by removing all blank spaces.
Clip includes startup, runup, take off, contact with approach, while in NE practice, somebody practicing an ASR approach, me returning back to the airport, uncontrolled airport communications, before landing checklist to shut down.
My initial contact with KJAN approach is at 4:10 and 14:05 is where I "squawk VFR"
My tail number is 1943 Lima
In-flight video can be seen at The video includes takeoff, slow flight and slips to landing.
