Title: Flight KL691 bird strike on departure from EHAM on 27 January

A KLM Boeing 747-400, registration PH-BFL was in the initial climb out of Amsterdam's runway 24 when the crew reported that they just had a bird strike.  The aircraft entered a hold at FL130 for about 30 minutes, dumped fuel and returned to Amsterdam for a safe landing on runway 18R about 50 minutes after departure.
