A Few Seconds ago a F-16 From Luke Air force base had to make a emergency landing due to engine flame out. The following is a Police/fire department scanner audio account of the incident.

Thanks for sharing this clip. Understand this was recorded yourself with your own scanner?

Audio quality is pretty clear.

This scanner recording was made by a friend in Lake Havasu, Az who runs a aviation/Police scanner club through out the States. They record the scanner channels and record them 24/7. In this clip he cleaned up the recording with the use of editing software and  Posted to his club to notify them to upload to news agencies through out the country. The event took place @ 10:45 (pacific time).  I posted in live ATC @ 11:23.

I was just about to post the audio clip in mp3 so that the whole community can find it easily.

Thanks for the information and thanks to your friend. I'll be producing a video of the incident for my Youtube channel and also trying to find some ATC audio.

Glad the pilot ejected safely. Only a few dollars to lose :-)

Sounds great --Contact MikeM for possible ATC recordings of the incident. He has great library of recordings and some nice equipment and computers. I am sure he would love to be of assistance.
