EGPF Audio, including FlyDubai Delivery Flight
« on: May 21, 2009, 10:09:05 AM »
Recorded some Glasgow Airport ATC today.

covering the arrival of A6-FDB,
Apologies if you have to turn the sound up quite loud and for the interference at the end.
Some periods of quiet remaining but no longer than about 20 secs.

Hope you like it, can do more if popular.

Good man, thanks for posting! I've posted quite a few clips of much the same thing at Edinburgh.

Mine always get somewhere in the region of 70-100 downloads, so I figure someone out there wants them so I keep posting! How did you record? I use a scanner and laptop and just record straight into Audacity.

Thanks again!

Ewan.

(Just noticed your filesize - Bandwidth is quite expensive, so I would suggest for future posts you encode your clip to 16kbps MP3 - I'm not sure how long this clip is yet as I'm still downloading, but you can fit an hour of audio into around 6mb - a tenth of the size of your clip!!  )

To encode to MP3, Audacity is a great free audio editor. http://audacity.sourceforge.net .
You'll also need to download Lameenc.dll, and point Audacity to it before you can encode. I've attached it below just in case you can't find it.

Re-encoded file so size is a touch smaller.

Thanks very much for re-uploading that for me, I have about an hour of GLA ATC so I will try to post this.
