This reminds me of a joke I once heard. Not sure if its true or not or even where I heard it.
A very fresh student pilot and his instructor were getting ready for take off. After the student nervously calls tower for take off, tower clears him for take off. The student pulls the airplane out onto the numbers and right as he is about to advance the throttle, a dear runs right into the middle of the runway and stops.
The student asks the instructor "What do I do what do I d?!?" Instructor says, "What do you think you should do?" Student replies "Try scaring it?" Instructor shruggs and the student gives a little power to the engine but the dear remains fixed. The student again asks "What do I do, what do I do?" Again, instructor says "What do you think you should do?" Student then says "I'll tell tower!"
Student calls the tower saying "Uh... tower, there is a dear on the runway here." There is a short pause from tower and then the student hears "Dear on runway clear immediate departure, traffic is waiting." Almost if the dear could hear him, the dear suddenly runs off the runway and into the forest. Before the student can do anything, tower calls back "Archer XYZ cleared take off runway NN, caution wake turbulence departing dear"
