LOL! That's funny. Doesn't take much sometimes. I once was talking to a captain who was very happy that somebody just gave him an extra cookie at the Doubletree hotel he was checking into while I was on the phone with him.

at least you get lots of bells and whistles to play with!!

i just look out windows or at a radar scope.....in a dark room...

You want bells and whistles? I dont think it would take me too long flying your sector to get some bells and whistles going off on your scope! I kid, I kid.

im with you lol...i did flight ops in the national guard but we didnt have an atc or anything which meant WE doubled as atc (lucky us huh???lol) and we didnt have ANY windows facing the flightline and runway or radar scopes and the only way of seeing we had was a movable camera that didnt even work...so all we really had was an atc radio for the municiple airport we shared the runway with and our own radio and then computers, maps, and paperwork...pilots get the scenery of different places, the office goes with them, they have all those buttons and switches to play with, and in some cases the flight attendents  :evil:  :wink: lol...pilots have it made compared to the guys on the ground lol...
