Title: Delta B737 blown tyre on T/O @ JFK
Post by: lipkinasl on July 30, 2008, 08:18:53 AM
News articles on a Delta B737 from JFK to SLC blowing a tyre during T/O and then circling to burn fuel for 3 hours, doing a Tower fly-by to get undercarriage damage check and then a landing with emergency vehicles and sparks flying back into JFK - anyone got the ATC feed?  I think this happened on Tuesday Jul 29.

Thanks in advance.

I listened to it live, wasn't much. Pilots on the ground were making some jokes, stuff like "it's probably cheaper to do an overweight landing these days." I'll find it tomorrow if it is not posted.
