A Delta Airlines Boeing 717-200, performing flight DL-878 from Hartford,CT to Minneapolis,MN (USA) with 95 people on board, was enroute at FL320 about 100nm east of Buffalo,NY (USA) when the crew initiated an emergency descent due to the loss of cabin pressure. Initially, the plan was to land at Greater Rochester International Airport but due to severe weather in the vicinity, the crew decided to divert to Buffalo.
