A Delta Airlines Boeing 767-300, registration N1613B performing flight DL-86 from New York JFK,NY (USA) to Tel Aviv (Israel) with 206 passengers and 11 crew, had reached initial cruise altitude FL290 about 25 minutes into the flight, when a passenger ran to the cockpit and pounded the cockpit door. Flight attendants subdued the man with the help of other passengers.
Airport officials said, that the man, an Israeli citizen, probably suffered an anxiety attack.
