Plane landed at Logan around 4:27 eastern.  Happened sometime during approach it appears.

Here's what I'm hearing -- the plane might have tried to land at EWR, then JFK, then was diverted to Boston Logan.  Does that make sense?  The turbulence was supposed to happen around approach to EWR or JFK.

I'm not sure where to look.

Check this out guys! http://www.flightradar24.com/data/flights/dl271#6113907

There you can find out the exact UTC times and try to figure out the frequency they are on. I join this group to try to collect the whole audios. Maybe we can get from descend, all the way down to Newark, missed approach and JFK and then to Boston

This is much easier: http://flightaware.com/live/flight/DAL271/history/20150422/1130Z/LFPG/KEWR/tracklog

Started to descend into EWR around 2:27pm (ET). Looks like they pulled out of the approach around 3:13pm (ET). Started the approach to JFK around 3:35pm (ET). Aborted that around 3:51pm. Climbed back up to FL170 around 3:56pm (ET).

Hope that helps.

It seems the feeds got crazy!!!

Regarding to FR24 UTC times and LiveATC feed times, they don't fix... You know if this could be possible??

And the audios last just 16 minutes... :-o

Impossible to collect the audios... Almost impossible I mean!

You can hear the flight checking on with EWR approach at 26:00 on the 1830Z archive. However there seems to be a glitch with the archives as EWR Approach, EWR Tower, EWR departure, JFK approach (ROBER) are all missing about 15 minutes of recording time in each of their 1900Z archive's.

From the time the aircraft is cleared to 4000 feet on the approach into EWR untill well into the missed approach did not get recorded,  as well as some transmissions on JFK approach (ROBER) enroute to JFK. Full coverage is avialable on the JFK final and Tower archives, but the missed approach at JFK is missed again when it was blocked by the other Tower frequency.

From what is available there is nothing particulary remarkable.

DAL271 did not come in on ROBER. Check the NY Approach CAMRN feed. You can hear them talking to DAL271 almost right away (http://archive-server.liveatc.net/kjfk/KJFK-NY-App-CAMRN-Apr-22-2015-1900Z.mp3). I think they got handed off to ROBER after...

I'm at work so I can't edit anything. Apologies for pasting links.

I won't hold it against you...........this time ;-).

All I know is that after a long flight from Paris, to have to deal with two approaches, vectoring for weather, a climb back up to FL170, and then landing in Boston - I might be one of the few people out there that would have found it "fun"! The joys of being a road warrior and flying somewhere every week!

Hey guys, stop working on it!

I got them all!!!!! :-D :-D :-D

It's been so difficult and tough to do but I do. I ahve the whole clips from the missed at Newark, all the way vectored to JFK and the missed in there and all the way up and rerouted into Boston until they land and vacate!!

I have to work on it, mix it, cut it and it'll be uploaded by tomorrow! Hopefully! :D

It's quite interesting. They declare minimum fuel and get priority when joining the BOS arrival
