CRJ200 has two flapless landings hours apart
« on: February 14, 2012, 06:28:22 PM »
An Air Wisconsin CRJ-200 was forced to make two flapless landings at Quebec City just hours apart - both ATC recordings (heavily edited and amplified) are spliced together. Sounds like a different crew for the two flights.

Hi !
Thank you for this recording. I'm not a native English speaker and I don't catch what the pilot means at the end of the tape by "normal roll out". Does it mean a normal exit of the runway ?
Thank you for your answer.

Yes - normal landing and leaving the runway.

after hearing this I realized that some how the FAA gave me a license to fly and yet I'd never performed a no flaps landing. So yesterday I went out and taught myself how to land with partial flaps and no flaps. Very good lesson. I landed _really_ long with no flaps the first time. Went around and tried again and greased it.  :-)
