Continental Pilot Tells “Boston John” To Speak English!!

Hello everyone!! My first post, really enjoy the site.

I heard this comment from a pilot telling controller John to “speak English” after his standard “Asta La Vista”. What a jerk!!!  :x

Just listen to the finally 30 seconds of the archive clip on January 31 (21:00 – 21:30) on the KBOS (TOWER). After the statement you hear 10 seconds of silence then another pilot tells John that he likes it.

i cant belive that guy he should learn some manners  John is one of the coolest controls at BOS

COA guy needs to lighten up, and this is why Boston John has a huge following here and not him!

In revenge I'd have told the Continental Pilot he couldnt have taken off, denied his clearence because the pilot was an arse.

Even the British Pilots over here in the UK know how to have a laugh and a joke

"Boston John" is among the best, ALWAYS helps me out when I transition the Bravo. Most everyone else at BOS is good, too, but John is a whiz at helping people out and having a good time at work.

I doubt its "mexican" he speaks cause if u listen closely to some of the clips of him having a conversation in spanish with other aircraft you notice he does not have a mexican accent... Its something else.
