Awesome vid. Thanks for that! Man, I miss that bird...one bird I'm sad to say, I will never get the chance to fly on.

Still blows my mind what she is capable of. 60,000 ft and twice the speed of sound...purely awesome.

I read a story about an west-bound crossing on the Concord. It was called somthing like "The Day Of Two Sunrises And Two Sunsets.

Day starts in London with the sun comming up. Departure on the Concord was just as the sun was setting. He said he actually watched the sun rise back off the Western horizon. Landing at KJFK was in the daylight, and he watched the sun set again from his back deck. Awsome.

Thanks again for the vid.  :-)

That's from the same ITVV line of videos that I mentioned in another thread.  I am happy to own the entire video.  It is BA1 from LHR-JFK then BA2 from JFK-LHR including the canarsie climb

I've been taking a good hard look at the ITVV range in an effort to learn more about what the "pointy end dwellers" do -

I take it you would recommend them - Any particular favourites I should invest in? They're not cheap, but they look worth it!

Your welcome, Dave.  I enjoyed the video of your Fox 25 interview too.

Since we are reminiscing about Concorde...I was looking through the archives, and found the retirement recording...just in case anyone wants to listen again, I attached it here:

Sorry for the delay in responding.  On vacation this week.  And my vacations consist of leaving the resort at 8am and returning at 11pm.  Not much computer time!

Like I said, I own the entire line.  Unfortunately I own them on VHS, and they are getting a bit worn.  The best videos are (in no order):

Airbus A330
Bae-146
Virgin B747-400 LHR-SFO
B737
Concorde
MD-11

Generally, the newer videos they did (they're all coming up on 10+ years old) were better.  They changed their product line in the middle, and the ones after the change are all pretty good.

Hey guys. Just picked up the March 2009 issue of Airliner World. It has a great article on the 40th anniversary of Concorde, from development to final flight. It also has a list of all Concordes produced, and where they are now. Highly recommended!  8-)

It also came with a 16 page supplement about the B787 DREAMLINER. Also a good read!
