TRS336 flies PHL-ATL

The way the ATC talks it makes it sound like it had just happened since he said "How is the f/o doing from that last flight"   Last flight meaning what?

I recently read in the paper this morning a flight from PHL had a bird strike on the right cockpit window and pieces of glass hit the co-pilot, they turned around and landed without problems. I wonder if this is what it's related too.

The paper said the event happened Saturday?
