(If this controller doesn't get an award for this, and great help from the other aircraft too, nicely done by all)

LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - A charter plane carrying two pilots and three passengers was forced to make an emergency landing at the Angelina County Airport after losing power.

Airport Manager Gary Letney said the plane landed around 8:29 p.m. and because the pilot was not familiar with the runway, the plane landed hard, blowing out all tires. Letney said nobody on board the plane was injured.  Letney said the plane was traveling from North Carolina. The plane is owned by Executive Airshare and is a Embraer SA 505.
Letney said the plane lost power in the air and was running on battery power. The pilot contacted FAA, who advised the pilot to make an emergency landing at Angelina. The FAA then called the Angelina County Sheriff’s Office, who called Letney.
