Nice find.

Can't believe he did that during a holiday in a park.
Witness in news report says it looked graceful; no one around panicked.

Other pilots and controller step on emergency transmissions of mayday aircraft.

A good example of why clear and concise transmissions should be made. "We are heading for the lake" had little meaning. Declaring and emergency or a Mayday would have meant something.

It all worked out well however.

This is not the pilots fault he said mayday he was just stepped on. Its hard to get a message across when other pilots and the controller are talking over you. Nice job by the pilots.

Nice Find.  Its always good to have a helicopter nearby when things start getting sporty.
