Hi everyone,

A subscriber just sent me this audio via email. He sent the whole feed file and I trimmed the important thing where apparently the PRITB gets himself before another traffic creating probably a near collision. He more than likely jumped the sequence.

The controller acted well in my opinion. She kept calm and made all the VFR sequence again.

Though, we can hear many different accents from the pilots (I can just recognize a few - maybe a couple - American pilots). Probably there's a flying academy in GYI where many foreigners train themselves.

Amazing.

It seems he was on an IFR flight plan. Heard "make left traffic" but read back "cleared to land". Jumped the sequence or got too close, then the controller judged that the safest course of action was to clear him to land and send the other traffic around, but then he thought the "go around" was for him.

The Brazilian-registered aircraft was up for sale in November 2016.
