With the set up at MSN tough to pick it all out, couldn't ever hear the Pilot, and a student at that, of the aircraft, but approach control huge help, and the Medi-vac finding them.
all safe

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Wis. (WKOW) -- A student pilot made an emergency landing in Columbia County after experiencing engine troubles, according to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office.

At about 12:27 p.m., the county dispatch center received information about an airplane that made an emergency landing on Wendt Road, just north of Bristol Road in Columbus Township.

The student was doing a solo flight when they began to experience engine problems, according to the sheriff's office.

"The pilot was skilled in their landing of the aircraft on the roadway, doing so without damage to any property or causing injury to themself or others," the sheriff's office said in a statement.
