Hey Guys,
                Here's a great conversation I heard a few weeks ago between Charlie,one of Boston towers controllers and Portcar 25 (I'm assuming it's the massport guys that inspect the runways e.t.c) Apart from John,Charlie is one of my favourite controllers at Boston,a great attitude,very friendly and very entertaining to listen to.
A few of the controllers at Boston,judging by their tone of voice,seem to find the massport guys a bit of a hinderence,but Charlie seems to have nothing but a deep respect for them and what they do,and this certainly comes over in the conversation. I love listening to this and it always puts me in a good mood. Hope you enjoy it.

P.S. Thanks for posting the link to Boston John's picture. He looks absolutely nothing like I imagined,but it's still great to finally see what he looks like. Talking of pictures.....does anyone know what Charlie looks like,I'd love to find out. I imagine him to look like the pic that someone posted of what they 'thought' John looked like....except without the moustache....and with short-ish wavey light-brown hair. And for some reason I always picture Charlie wearing loud Hawaiian shirts!!!!

P.P.S The link to Johns picture had a sound file with it,but I can't play it for some reason. If someone has it as an MP3 and could post it,I'd very much appreciate it.

yup, thats Charlie, i know him and the Port 25. Very Nice guys!!!

Wow,you mean you know him personally??? Cool!!! Yeah and whoever the Port25 guy was (great accent),he seemed like a real nice bloke as well and really enjoys what he does,as does Charlie obviously.
The Port25 guy obviously knows that some controllers find them a pain,coz I love the bit at the end where he says '.....I wont bother you no more!!'....almost apologetic for doing his job. What a great guy!!! Big respect!!!

Yup, Port 25 is the man! he gave me a field check one day.....FAST DRIVER!!! And Charlie...Also the man!

That's a cool clip, I love the joke about following the embraer to orlando!! 8-)
