Boom Aircraft Goes Supersonic for the First Time

This morning in the Mohave Desert, Boom took its XB-1 demonstration aircraft supersonic for the first time to Mach 1.1!  It marks the first time a private company has developed a supersonic aircraft.  This paves the way for them to develop a supersonic commercial transport aircraft that could be flying in about five years.  Congrats to Boom!
