Title: Boeing 747 Dreamlifter’s main gear wheel falling on takeoff from Italy

There is video in the link of it happening.
I found the audio from KCHS, but with one feed, edited it best I could.
Landed with no issue, and kudos to ATC and the American Flight changing runway approach/landing.

The Boeing 747-400BLCF “Dreamlifter” (reg. N718BA) experienced an incident whne it took off from Taranto-Grottaglie Airport, in Italy.

A wheel from main landing gear fell during the initial climb-out on runway 35.

Flight #5Y4231 was carrying equipements for the Dreamliner’s factory in Charleston, NC.
The aircraft made a safe landing in Charleston at 14.15 local time.
