Cargo plane gets stuck in mud at Birmingham's airport
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. —
No one was hurt after a cargo plane rolled off a taxiway and got stuck at the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport (BHM).
Kim Hunt, vice president of communications for BHM, stated the plane arrived at the airport about 5 a.m. and, while moving along the taxiway, made a turn and deviated from the taxiway into the grass. That caused the wheel gear to become stuck in the mud.
