ATC over the pacifc

hi, i've got american friends who are coming to australia. being a pilot and such an aerosexual i want to tune in to their flight as much as i can from LAX to SYD. I just listened to their flight UAL839 depart LAX on the tower freq, but is there a socal departure stream? what live streaming would i use now?
do i use the pacific HF frequency san francisco ?? cheers for your help.

Looks like your best bet will be the Pacific HF feed. They cover some of the frequencies used. However it seems the Pac HF feed is mostly focused picking up the flights heading to Japan which roughly follow the west coast of CA, OR, WA, BC and AK. I didn't see any Oakland or LA center feeds which seemed like they would be useful.
