ATC get a little upset with Air Nippon 737 crew

Recorded in 2001, an Air Nippon 737 (callsign "ANK training 3") conducting pilot training near Avalon Airport in Victoria, Australia, misses a scheduled ops normal call with Melbourne Centre and then becomes uncontactable for approximately 12 minutes.

Thanks for this very interest audio recording.

At least the Training 3 pilot spoke better English than some Air China 777 pilots flying into and out of US airports?
