According to Wikipedia:

Fukuoka Airport is the third largest passenger airport in Japan. In 2005, 18 million people used the airport, while there were 137,000 takeoffs and landings.

Sucks for it to be Asiana.  They have a very good saftey record.  (Unless of course their planes are being flown by ex-KAL flight crew)

A 737-300 aircraft belonging to Tarcom was taking off on the 30 Dec 07 in Romania ,and in the process of doing so they crashed into a truck which was still on the runway. It skidded onto the grass an I think it lost one of its engines.I presume they got clearance to take off im not sure about that. The pilot reported that before the impact he could see people running from the truck.I would say they got a bit of a fright when they saw what was coming their way.

Here is a video news report on the Tarom 737 crash where it hit the vehicle on the runway in fog.  It seems as if the vehicle may have been doing runway maintenance and, due to a misunderstanding of some sort, was still on the runway when the Boeing was on its take off roll.  The report is in Romanian but non-Romanian speakers like me can get the idea quite well.
