The southern region's save was the best I've ever heard.  It was published here on the forums before the controllers were even nominated.  BE20 pilot dies shortly after takeoff and the controllers talk down a passenger who was a newly-licensed singe-engine pilot to a safe landing.  The CEL pilot and his family were in Orlando to view the awards and thank the controllers.
