At about 3:50pm EST, at Pearson Intl., Aeropro 802, A Beechcraft 100 King Air (twin-turboprop) ,  is refused takeoff clearance and sent back to de-icing. It takes off at about 4:18 EST and then declares an emergency.

Great..

I was searching for this incident and you already posted it..  Thanks.. :-)

Anyway, didn't the tower 'ordered' the aircraft to go to de-ice even on the ground?  Then he still had his problem?

Yes he did. Whether he argued with de-icing and got out of it or not is another question. His emergency call was kinda weird too.

Just to clarify, there was a space of about 20 minutes between his first denial of clearance and his takeoff which I edited out for brevity.

Weird, that a pilot who thinks that his aircraft is safe cannot take off because some dude with a de-ice hose who's not a pilot wont allow an airplane take off...

Haha, the first guy started getting mad because he wanted to leave but he needed to de-ice.
