1955 Zulu(3:00PM local),  Aug 12.  KMFE.  Two in one week.  This time a Cessna Navajo arriving from Mexico landed, blew a tire and then nose dived into the runway, no injuries.  Listen for the XB call sign as it approaches around 20 minutes into the first recording.  One aircraft XC departs 1 minute ahead of the landing, then two aircraft stack up for take off just after the crash.  A commercial  turbo prop has to return to the Gate with passengers.  You'll hear a busy tower operator then handle ground crew and vehicles along with approaching flights as the runway temporarily closes.

here is a local news article.

Do you think you can use some more professional terminology besides "crash landing" and "nose diving".  The only people that use those terms are the news media since they usually have no clue what they're talking about.

BTW, the Navajo is a Piper product, not a Cessna.
