Allegiant Air 175, an Airbus A319, initiated a go around from low height (about 50 feet AGL) on runway 30L due to a gust of wind and then had their engine number 2 fail while spooling up. The flight crew and ground observers reported marginal climb and roll performance, the aircraft made cautious left traffic and landed safely on 30L on their second try.

I live between IWA and PHX and saw this A319 fly low over my house and wondered about it's height being so close to PHX and CHD airspace. Knowing the departure procedures from IWA I found it's flight path and altitude strange and even mentioned to my girlfriend "I wonder if they lost an engine." Now it makes sense, thanks for posting this..
